Trying to be Better

Trying to be Better is a new musical about the small battles of pressure and resistance that make up life.

It follows a group of friends each trying to balance being true to themselves with societal expectations.

Do we all want children? Does all support deserve gratitude? Should we "get over" people?

This excerpt focuses on one of the characters, his breakup, and its aftermath.
